2005: National Gastronomy Award.
Food & Wine ranks QDR among the world’s ten most interesting restaurants.
Introduction of “mineralization”: the Guggenheim Oyster. Other techniques include edible papers, veils, and work with stevia.
Publication of the book Contemporary Rices.

2006: Two Michelin stars for Quique Dacosta Restaurante.

2009: Quique Dacosta becomes the sole owner of Quique Dacosta Restaurante.

2010: Begins his journey as an independent culinary entrepreneur.
Opens Mercatbar and Vuelve Carolina in Valencia.

2011: Wins the National Gastronomy Award for Innovation and Design.

2012: José Antonio Navarrete receives the National Award for Best Sommelier in Spain from the Royal Academy of Gastronomy.
Three Michelin stars for Quique Dacosta Restaurante.

2013: Quique Dacosta is awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Fine Arts from Miguel Hernández University.
Opens El Poblet in Valencia.

2015: MUVIM Museum exhibits Transformed Landscapes – a showcase of Quique Dacosta’s creative and inspirational processes.
Publication of the book 3 by Quique Dacosta.

2016: Publication of the book Tapas with Quique Dacosta.

2019: Opens his first restaurant outside Spain: ArrosQD in London.
Premier of the documentary Cooking Beauty at the San Sebastián Film Festival.
El Poblet earns its second Michelin star.
Release of the Amazon Prime series One Life, One Dinner.

2020: Awarded the Gold Medal for Fine Arts by the King and Queen of Spain and the Ministry of Culture.

2021: Becomes creator and culinary director of the Mandarin Oriental Ritz Hotel in Madrid.

2022: Deessa, at the Mandarin Oriental Ritz Madrid, earns its second Michelin star.

2023: Publication of The Red Prawn Book.

2024: Quique Dacosta Restaurante ranks No. 14 in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
